Great news! Robyn Chapman of Paper Rocket Minicomics is publishing a collection of 50 of the best portraits from the 100 cartoonist portraits that will be on view Saturday, Feb 1st from 6 to 9 pm--one night only!-- at LauchPad Brooklyn.

A limited number of books will be on hand at the LaunchPad reception; the rest of the books will be published via Kickstarter in February. Read more details here. Tom Spurgeon of tThe Comics Reporter gave a nice nod to the book here.

Characters: Portraits of Contemporary Cartoonists at LaunchPad

On February 1, 2014, I will have a pop-up solo show at LaunchPad in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The show features portraits of 100 contemporary cartoonists. Most of the works are gouache, though there are a few ink drawings. The reception will be a fun event with free drinks and snacks, and offers an opportunity to network with cartoonists for creators in the NYC area.
