Love Letter Preview

This page is somewhere in the middle of a five page story I made for the forthcoming romance-themed issue of Rabid Rabbit. It's due out this May, debuting simultaneously on both American coasts at Stumptown Comics Fest in Portland, OR and MOCCA Fest in NYC. Come see!

I had a lot of fun playing with that grey. Now I'm gonna go use my legs, I've been sitting and working and tea drinking for lengthy amounts of time. Whew!

Inking

Lots of leaves...and more leaves...and fabric folds...and little squiggly lines. More leaves.

Smokey Dokey

Here's another piece for the Portland Mercury, about the tobacco industry in Oregon, roughly paraphrased. This was really fun to draw. Pascal was relatively well-behaved during the creative process i.e. camped out on my lap as I brandished my tablet pen.

Here's a nice brushy thing I made for that zine I mentioned in a previous post. I am having more trouble than I would like to admit trying to piece together images in photoshop because the scanning bed was a few inches too narrow...going to rescan the snow pieces tomorrow. But for now I'm going to make dinner and make more weird paintings. Update you on the flip side!
