another piece, based on a sort of homage to the belief that men are capable of vulnerability. i'm focusing on the sweet fluffy stuff, rather than reality. i've had too much reality lately.

i think this is where i make a broad, sweeping generalization about men in general, but i'd rather not.

I found this really great photo of joseph gordon-levitt, and after studying it, ended up with a zombie version. i do like the hands though.

nightmares

i had bad dreams all night, and am pretty tired. i was on a crashing boat with no windows, and my sister got bitten by a spider and died, and then she wasn't there, it was just a cold, white book. tell me what that means.

this painting took me a few days, even though it is small. I didn't like where it was going but I'm glad I forced myself to finish it.

I'm currently reading "Suttree" by Cormac McCarthy and highly recommend it.

lazy eye

i finally got moved over to my new studio space! I'm pretty pumped, despite the sans le furniture i'm currently rocking. my desk is a piece of masonite atop several mystery boxes. work in progress.

i'm really into kiddie rides. there is a gigantic distributor in denver colorado that has something like 200 different models. i would love to go check them out someday soon. hope you enjoy. i'll be making some more of these this week.
